When iconic LEGO blocks meet legendary letterpress!

At this year's DesignThinkers in Toronto, Design Educator and Podcaster, Diana Varma brought an innovative twist to the world of design with her workshop, "LEGO Letterpress."

The concept was simple yet brilliant: participants gathered around tables with LEGO blocks and a LEGO baseplate. The challenge? Craft a letter on the baseplate using the iconic LEGO bricks. Once the design was set, the plate was inked with a roller and pressed onto paper in classic letterpress style, resulting in a one-of-a-kind print!

Participants delved into the creative process, had fun with LEGO blocks, revived the history of letterpress printing, and left with a tangible piece of art that looks a lot like an 8-bit illustration.
